It’s a testament to Yuji Nakas ninja coding skills that this game isn’t a complete trainwreck. Arriving at launch alongside the equally maligned Space Harrier 2 on a system that couldn’t scale sprites made for a pretty poor representation of the arcade original. There are only four levels but you needn’t worry about that because you’ll never make it past the 2nd one thanks to the laggy movment of your ‘copter. Good thing the music is so pleasing or you wouldn’t have much reason to play it more than once.
